Vascular Ultrasound Doppler Lab - Arterial and Venous Doppler - Buffalo, Niagara, NY

We currently have three offices in Western New York.


An ACR accredited vascular lab at the Vein Treatment Center where arterial and venous Doppler studies are performed. These studies are done in our Williamsville office and in our Clarence, NY office.


Studies performed include:


Arterial Doppler studies with state of the art toe brachial indices - much more sensitive thatn ankel brachial indices (ABI. Toe brachial indices are used in conjunction with arterial Doppler to diagnose peripheral arterial disease in diabetics and non diabetics with atherosclerotic disease.


Venous Doppler ultrasound studies of the lower extremities to diagnose venous insufficiency involving the great saphenous veins, small saphenous veins, perforator veins and also to diagnose deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and superficial vein thrombosis.


Upper extremity venous Doppler studies to rule out deep vein thrombosis or superficial vein thrombosis.


Upper and lower extremity arterial doppler studies to diagnose suspected Raynaud's disease - Raynaud's testing.


Carotid Doppler ultrasound to diagnose carotid stenosis in patients with strokes, transient ischemic attacks (TIA), dizzy spells, and so on. 


Dr. Hratch Karamanoukian is the Director of the Vein Treatment Center in Williamsville, NY.


Our vascular labs in Williamsville, NY and Clarence, Ny are accredited by the ACR - ACR Accredited Vascular Labs.
